Karo dark corn syrup combines the natural sweetness of pure corn syrup with a small amount of refiner's syrup (a can sugar product with molasses-like flavor).  This natural sweetener enhances the flavor and texture of many foods, particularly baked goods, caramel popcorn, candy, meat and vegetable glazes, fruit toppings, and beverages.
